[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A close up of a wild elephant from my recent trip to Sri Lanka. We were lucky enough to visit several of Sri Lanka's namtional parks where Elephants are widespread. This photo was from Udawalwe NP, were the elephant population is thankfully on the rise due to a massive reduction in poaching. I lost count of how many pregnant elephants I saw.

wonderful details Richard... it's a gorgeous animal and I love the muddy mask.
I'm a very big elephant fan and it's good to know that you have seen so many young ones on the way.. I sure hope that the Asian elephant will be saved...
