I captured this while a lady sitting on a chair and at that moment they lost everything.
It was few days after the Tsunami hit to my home town 'Galle ', Sri Lanka.
Really now they have no answer. |

Wow, very powerful photo! Very sad. You captured it nicely.
It might be nice to tone down the white spost on the trash a little but very nice photo!

Thank you for sharing this photo. It is really hard to imagine what everyone had to go through because of the tsunami, but when you see images like this one, it really hits you. Very emotional, and dramatic.

Very sad image. Those of us who weren't there probably have no idea the feeling this woman has in this shot.
It's horrible.
Thanks for sharing

Just the other day i deleted over 100 pictures of mine from TL. Only one got to stay. It was the one that i made after the Tsunami. The tragedy in that even is still more then i can comprehend. This is a very emotional post that showes the concequenses of this tradgey. I still find myself lacking words when thinkig of it.

I really can't imagine what devastation like this must feel like. But looking at this image you have captured I can imagine a little. It makes for a good journalistic photo how you have caught this sadness and loss and hopelesness. The doll in the right foreground laying in the rubble adds even more
