You did a fantastic job of scanning especially from a negative as those rice paddies are quite clear and colorful.
Imho I think the palm tree is a bit distracting, you could have cropped it off and still have a good shot,but then again that might be just me.

Nice capture of these rice fields. The composition is nice and the detail is good. The palm tree is distracting but it is still a nice photo.
