| I was just looking for a subject in Mt.Lavinia Beach in Colombo, Sri Lanka and suddenly this unbelievable moment of life appeared from far. I was waiting them to pass me at this exact place to capture. This dog was so care about his master. Sorry it was a overcast day, no blue sky. But it tells the dark side of the life I guess! |

Hi Priyanga,
You certainly don't need a blue sky to have an effective beach photo. As a matter of fact, I like the mood of this photo. Very nice reflections of the man and dog in the water on the sand. I also like how the dog is looking back at his owner.
thanks for sharing, Lisa

A very effective photo. I have one suggestion here - you could rotate the photo slightly to get the horizon level. Well seen and well captured!
Hi Priyanga,
I think this is the perfect colour of sky for your picture, very 'moody' composition indeed. I like the different shades of grey and the contour of the dog and his keeper. Excellent timing to capture. You did a great job! Thanks for sharing.
Best regards,
Kristof

Hi Priyanga,
Very interesting and effective photo. Not having colour in this case not a problem at all. I like it this way, almost balck and white. Few pointers, the water-sky line is tilted. The picture could be made better by rotating the image slightly. I would have put the man and the dog not at the centre but to a side. These are minor. The picture is still very good.
