Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) started 2007/2/17. It's the year of the golden pig which means there could be trouble. Soothsayers predict that there could be more wars and natural disasters...just what we need.
In Chinese culture, New Year means a time to spend with family and to pray for a good year. Here, hundreds of people are trying to get into Lungshan Temple to pray on the first day. |
