This is Arlyn, my Design Quality Assurance mate in Taiwan when we were making the bullet train railway there in 2001, years before I knew TL. This is one of my trek pics to the highest mountain peak in Taiwan, the Alishan mountain. I was the youngest in the troup and I'd start goofing around and they'd always follow :)
This pic was taken 6 years ago from my detachable camera attached to my HP Jornada pocket PC, a pre-megapixel digital camera era. The image and focus is not that sharp so I made the image a bit smaller than usual and did some experiment on the border. I hope you still like it :)
Pp work:
1. crop
2. saturate, sharpen, and adjust shadows and highlights
3. add white border using canvass size (white)
4. erase green colors w/ white paint (use chalk brush)
5. resize for TL
Quote of the Day:
"Let us first say what photography is not. A photograph is not a painting, a poem, a symphony, a dance. It is not just a pretty picture, not an exercise in contortionist techniques and sheer print quality. It is or should be a significant document, a penetrating statement, which can be described in a very simple term - selectivity." -Berenice Abbott |

Hi Freddie,
The photo is a bit overexposed for me. Her left hand is blurred. Nice color though..

Hi Fred,
Despite of fact that image quality is low as compared to comtemporary digital imaging, the idea is really worth apprecaition. Nice placement and presentation, thus, a charming picture. Well done.
Thanks for sharing this.

Hi Freddie,
I'm back!!!Sorry for not been posting for the past few months..my dad's been diagnosed with 4th stage colon cancer..and now he's coping well..
ok let's go to your picture..hmm..is she standing or is she really lying on it? if she's standing while capturing this pic then it's a camera trick..nice one..if she's lying..still it's a great one..nice and suitable frame to accompany with... ;)
