The Floating Market is like being parked on the M25 on a busy day....there are boats galore all selling different types of goods from food drinks spices nic-nacs hats ...this one was a mother and daughter or grandaughter..you can see the resemblance in their faces.....she was selling spring rolls ....excellent taste and for less than 50 pence

Street mood well captured.... Tfs

Sachin

très joli double portrait, j'aime beaucoup le regard de la jeune femme,

j'aime aussi ces soupes mangées ainsi dans la rue comme le fait l'homme aux chaussures rouges

merci pour cette scène de vie,

dd, île de la Réunion

This one is very cool! I love it! Such a busy shot, but in this case it reflects the jam and chaos you mention in your note, and the two faces of your subjects stand out beautifully. I like the guy having his soup in the background, too. Awesome work with the kit lens.
The only improvement (IMO) would be a crop - or gradient - from the top to reduce some of those brighter areas.
Rew

Awesome pic! Really liked the composition, POV and color tone. Very natural expressions you have managed. TFS!

Love it.

intense colours and tones with a great depth of field and point of view add reality to the whole thing Bill.

Brilliant capture getting the young lady looking into the camera where all around, everyone else is oblivious to your presence as they are lost in their work or thoughts as displayed brilliantly by the old lady, in a world of her own.

I disagree with Rewhearer. The lighter areas at the top of the shot add dimension and atmosphere Almost industry like "It's sunny and bright up there, but dull and dank down here"
Nothing in the lighter area is overexposed or distracting.

All in all, an excellent shot,

well done

Martin

hi billy,
this is a busy but delightful and engaging daily life scene. there is good depth as i sharply see the man enjoying his soup. the two ladies infront offer some interesting contrasts with the older lady avoiding eye contact while the younger one did not seem to mind being photographed at all. a bright vivid clusters of fruits or vegetables would have completed the scene for me. my best regards. i enjoyed viewing this. best regards.

Hi Bill,
I love these shots of daily life and you are bringing them to us brilliantly. The faces you catch and especially in this image are so full of character it's great, the colours are good without being over saturated and the PoV and focus is crisp and the main subjects are positioned well in frame. Keep em commin' Billyboy. TFS
