[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a culmination of many photos that I took from this magnificent monument.I have pasted them resized to fit and altered some parts to suit my tastes using various tools in ps.All colour changes made using curves in individual colour channels. The scan is of lesser quality than my current scanner so I have been reluctant to add a final two sections to the left and right inwhich I was to bring the wall into a curved abstraction of pattern kind of like a radial blur.

Magnificent. Love the clour composition and framing. It is awe inspiring. Well captured.

Hey! This is a fantastic picture.
The composition is great, the POV, remarkable.I especially like the way the sky through the roof looks like an umbrella over Buddha.
Great job!

Stunning POV and excellent PP work. This picture belongs in a tourist guide. Congratulations!

Wow! I don't know how the real one looks, but the pp work you've done here must be fantastic because your composition imediately grabs our attention.!! Excellent colours and that little piece of blue sky makes everything shine.
Well done

yea this image rocks! pretty good pp work. also clever way to work around the painful task of stitching. only thing i would say is that the blue of the sky does not look natural.

I enjoy it a lot... Curious! With the sky over it like that... It give an impression, he is trapped in a very large hole!
I know some of this statues can be very big! Don't know for that one... but it's look to be...

very nice good ps job...i like the color

wow, what an impact!it looks gigantic!!i like the statue looking down.compo is very good,so are the colours.i like the blue sky.well done!

hi gren,
great results, everything u made suits the compo.and the sky also gives another dimension to your subject.u've worked very well,
regards

Nice image. Post processing work is very creative. Thanks for sharing !!!

Impressive picture Gren and well combined pictures !
It looks like a wide angle lens.
The statue and the building have beautiful colors and contrast but I don't like your sky. It's too grainy and the color is unreal.
Good job !

great photo work for a great piece of world Heritage!

Hi Gren,

Very great and magnificent statue. taken from a good POV showing great architectural details with good colour composition.

I really love this shot. The perspective and point of view as well as the combination of other photos really lends to the wide angle view of this. The title is absolutely fitting, and the placement of the opening to the sky above near the top edge balances well with the head and torso of the Buddha. Excellent tonalities, perfect contrasts. I love the use of the black framing and divisions making the shot look like a triptych. Very good framing and cropping too that brings focus and balance to the main subject, and the capture of that diamond-shaped, cornered outline of the ceiling opening adds such a dynamic and interesting element to the shot. Good darker tones in the corners to create continuity and minimize distractions. I remember learning about Wat Si Chum in my art history course on Southeast Asia and I was so fascinated with it. Inside the walls are tunnels with incredible carved reliefs on the inner walls depiciting figures, ceremonies, etc. It is still somewhat of a mystery as to how people had made the carving relief in such dark tunnels and in such large stones. Excellent shot, TFS!

Great work. I love it. The colors are beautiful and the symmetry created by your pov looks spectacular. Really well done! congratulations :D

Hi Gren,
I like the composition and the contrast between the warm on the subject and the light blue on the sky.The shape and texture are also interesting. Well done.
