I felt like I was in Disneyland the first time I visited Thailand because of the magnificent architecture and costums. This is well composed. The influence of Indian aspect of Buddhism is well displayed in this scene. Best regards...

Hi Urs,
What a spectacle of colors and light. It must be an impressive sight to see. I don't think that his is a very strong composition. Its hard to find a focal point and the composition looks cluttered. Actually there isn't a single statue that is not blocked by something else. A different POV would have certainly help.

the Buddhism in Thailand looks rather different from Japanese,
the decorations there are too gorgeous to be religious...

Hi Urs

This temple looks new, since I was last in Samui in late 2006 / early 2007. Superb sharpness & saturation. The polarizer has done its job well. Good contrasted lighting & excellent framing. Tfs!
