Angie again.

This is a fresh shot....I just took this this morning. Angie looks fresh early in the morning.

This is inspired by Zandra's portrait (zto), my muse, long time ago. Sigh! Since she took away all her previous posts, I am reliving the memory by posting this.

BTW, I am also posting a portrait (longer) version of this picture at the workshop. Which do you think is better?

Wonderful portrait again. I get jealous every time I see one of yours. As to your question: I like both but if I had to chose one I'd go for this one over the workshop. It has more accent on the eyes.

Hi Manny!
Portrait version works better IMHO, because there are many diagonal lines that go up to her eyes so crop is much better. I think with this landscape crop you've tried to accomplish your recognizable style, but weren’t sure how to do it, so it’s a bit undone.
Now for the portrait version. I always enjoy your shallow (50 or 60mm) DOF and the way how you balance it. The way you blurred her hair and neckless is great, leaving that feather. Eyes and shoulder in focus. Excellent details which fits great in this portrait crop.
Well, wadayaknow, I’d never think I would like your portrait crop more than usual landscapes! :)
Great portrait, TFS! Regards,
Robert

Woooooooooooooooow!

Hi Manuel!
Great shot!!!
Beautiful portrait of a wonderful girl ;-)
Very cool!

TFS,
Chris

Hi Manuel,

This is a great photo, great photo, the feather accentuates the green blush on her eyelids. What did you do Postprocossing wise?

This is perfect. I like this version much more because of the close up on her eyes which make this photo. her make-up couldn't be better - not just the eyes, leaving her lips natural was a spot on!

Uau!!!!
É Manuel, realmente sua especialidade é clouse de pessoas!!!!
Essa foto ficou muito boa! Ótima!
O composto das cores, os tons verdes marcaram com excelência os traços da modelo!
Parabéns!

Thank you Manny. WOW. You have no idea how happy i am to be able to inspire to such beauty. Your potraits are always wonderfull. I know i am horrible when it comes to keeping my photos. Still lack confidence i guess...I will try to become a better muse in teh future then i have been in the past months hehe. Been lacking inspiration myself. But something tells me taht is about to change :-)

Just as Robert i preffer this rather then the WS as this emphysises her eys more. Both versions are smashing.

This version is much better, because: more accent on her eyes, less odd details, better combination eyes with the feather.

Hi Manny,

Nice Composition, but strange is the feather part of the photo ? coz on the upper right near the eye, there a streek of skin that seems mergin with the feather? or it just an illusion? or My eye maybe.
