Macaw birds are native to Central and South America but here in South East Asia they are known as birds that can learn how to talk. Macaws are in the same family as the African Grey but macaws are very colorful. I have a good architect friend in Toronto, Canada who had one for 6 years, and it can whistle music selections that it hears all the time from the family's stereo. It can imitate the ring of a telephone and learn phrases that it hears often.
This picture was taken in Nong Nooch Village, Pattaya, Thailand
This was taken using my wife's Canon S100 in October 2003. I do not have the EXIF information. |

Hi Andre... This is one of the clicks of Urs I truly like. its very very hard to take a clear shot of birds but it turned out to be Awesome!Congratulations! The background is lot in focus.. Add a little blur to it so that the birds are clear and are in focus as they are the main subjects. Adding to my Favourites :)
Take care.
