The scenery somewhere north of Bangkok. This is an older picture but I was looking back on my last years holiday and thought I would share this with you. Hope you'll like it.

Hi Karen

Lovely field scenery shot. It takes very much an outdoor person to go to a place like this (only photograhers do!)

.imagine you walk through fields just to get this shot, under the hot sun? (that's the life of avid photographer, going after NATURE, not entertainment or shopping malls)

.excellent pov, composition here
.great light (1/1600s!)
.f/2.7 yet still give good dof
.divider sticks in foreground is nice
.color patches of field is striking
.sadly half of RHS hill is cut (so nice to trekk up there)

.you have a good eye for such view
.horizontal lines of field are excellent
.great image from S3

Keep shooting, yeah?

tfs, cheers
bill

Dear Karen,
a wonderful and exotic view of south asia you took.
front green/yellow yards, middle deep green trees and distant strange shape mountains, all make beautiful perspectives with nice width.
hot wind blows me out of this picture.
thank you,
Akihisa

Hi Karen,

I love the layers in this photo. This is well seen and well captured. Thanks for sharing.

Allan

This one works nicely. Good layering with the different colours of the fields, leading up to the mountains. The horizon is well placed in keeping with rule-of-thirds, good positioning also of the three coconut trees.

Excellent shot

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Windeward Yet Again’

Hi Karen, You have captured the colours well and the composition has a definite 3-D look about it. Good DOF. TFS. Murray.

Hello Karen!

I like this peaceful rural scene, with the coloured land strips and the distant hills! TFS.

Hi Karen,
Really nice image with great colors. Maybe I should have composed it this way: camera a bit more right to take the hill totally in and to leave the left tree out. Just an idea.
Beautiful place though, well done. Tfs, cheerz, László
