This is a lovely shot to begin with, you've controlled the light very well and avoided the "washed out sky" that can be so easy to catch when taking shots like this. The blue/gold/green colours work very well together. Very nice image!!

Beautiful colours and I love the POV, which definately makes the temple seem to be a natural part of the surrounding scenery - the temple and the jungle side by side.

Beautiful temple, Hans. I like both views, with a preference for the ws version as it has a better view on the temple. This one is better for showing the vegetation, though the golden bits of the temple are a bit burnt. Why not combine the two shots in one collage, I wonder? ;o))

Hello Hans, great photo & brings back memories. I was in Takhli, at the Royal Thai Air Force Base in 1965-66 while in the USAF. Some photos I took while there are here, http://www.takhli.org/gallery/ainsworth/index.html, if you care to check them out. They were scanned from slides & posted them in 2002. I was surprised they were still on the net. I liked it there & enjoyed the people which were very friendly.
Looks like a great photo op trip, I will be checking out your photos!

Hoi Hans,
Een mooie scherpe en zeer heldere foto van een pracht stukje architectuur. Het detail wat men altijd in dit soort gebouwen aanbrengt is erg bijzonder. Je crop naar een meer vierkant formaat is perfect, is positioneerd het gebouw perfect en geeft de best mogelijke vlakverdeling. Het rood van de tempel heef ook een erg mooi contrast met het vele tropische groen.
