Lens Flare in Phuket :)
I just love the sun that's filtered through the palm trees on a sunny day in Phuket. This is dedicated to TL members above the tropic of cancer this winter season :)

Very simple work flow in Photoshop:
Filter > Render > Lens Flare > 50-300mm zoom (77%)

Composition:
Model: Canon PowerShot A640
Exposure Time: 1/1244
F-Stop: f/6.3
Focal Length: 7300/1000 mm
Metering Mode: Pattern

Pp work:
Software: Adobe Photoshop CS3
1. duplicate Layer
2. tweak colors and saturation
3. add lens flare, erase some strong circles
4. add border and text
5. flatten Layers
6. resize and sharpen
7. resize for TL

Quote of the Day:
"I think the 50(mm lens) is an extremely good discipline lens; it requires you to see in a more refined way, not just tighter." -William Albert Allard

Hi Freddie Weddie :)
Well,I've never seen a lens flare added before ... I didn't even know you could.
Following my post yesterday,I think thgis is pretty cool. (Part of my note read 'Lens flare ... I don't care. I like it.)
And I do. I reckon lens flares are cool.
So is this shot.

Hi Fred

A very under rated shot, with perfect sharpness, graphism, repetition of the palms, & silhouettes. Plus a superb blue sky. Tfs!

good perspective and use of the light fred :)
