Swaddee Krub everybody,

Songkrang 2008,I took this shot when I finished the shot of novice monk line.that i just post onTE.I took a shot of the beautiful scene of line of novice monk come down the stair from upper terrace of Phra Mondop. And after they came to rest at the Sala(small house around the temple). Some of novice start to express their emotion that you will see it in this scene.:-)

For post process,Firstly I use curve a little bit to adjust light and contrast and used shadow/hight light to open detail on shadow area. Secondly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust the color. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

For information in brife: Phra Mondop, in the middle of terrace, is a library built in Thai style by Rama I, known for its excellently crafted Ayutthaya-style mother-of-pearl doors, bookcases containing the Tripitaka (sacred Buddhist manuscripts), human- and dragon-headed nagas (snakes), and statues of Chakri kings.

Dear Prapat!
Wonderful boys. Amazing young monks.
Good point of view.
Very good composition.
Very funny picture.
TFS!

Hello Prapat,
I would not consider this boring rather artistic in interpretation and composition. The young monks, always a delight to photograph, are ideally positioned in your frame. The isolated design and details of the temple (wish it were sharper) blends well with the subjects. (How I would like to return to Thailand for a photo opportunity, this time with a digital camera. Swaddee Krub! Danilo

Chuckle...one never knows when they might end up on TL:) Good composition and color, with a touch of humor. Well done.
