Swaddee Krub everybody,

This is my contribution to Friday Theme 2008/09/12 "5 Minutes From Home"

For the first time That I read this week Friday's theme.I thinking of this photo that I captured in the alley near my house(I think round 5 minute from my house;-)).This fly had so still on the falling leaf that i could crawl to took this scene.Yes,it was a dirt work.;-)

For post process,Firstly I use curve a little bit to adjust light and contrast and used shadow/hight light to open detail on shadow area. Secondly,I use color balance and hue/saturation tool to adjust a bit of color. Finally,I used smart sharpen, framing and resize to finish.

hi Prapat

Interesting title and subject. I think your focus is on the dead leaf instead of the fly. Not sure why you use only f/2.5 for shallow DOF as your angle of shot will blur most part of the view.

tfs, bill

Hello Prapat

haha we both found flies 5 mins from home then. A nice angle on this shot with the insect face on a small loss of detail on the head but the wings are lovely and sharp. Well balanced macro with good colour.

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi Prapat,

It's a good macro shot . .
The note and black part of the frame is a bit too much . . My apology, it's my preference to show more on the fly and surrounding . .
Is it a new lens? Can't find this lens in Indonesia . . Seems it's an excellent lens . .

Tfs,
Tjutjut
