Hello Sabine.
Better stay away from there now, as there are lots of problems even now at the airport.
I also like to go to the far east maybe in Januari, but no reall plans made yet.
Hua Hin seems to be a THE place, many Germans having a second house out there,
So, I better go to North-West Germany, nice an quiet down (up) there, haha

Good morning Sabine,
Fantastic mood in this photo. So relaxing and indeed I wish I were there too. The swaying coconut trees and the pool's reflection are the highlights. I am planning a trip to SE Asia by Feb. 09 and I can't wait to visit the various national parks of Thailand. My best regards. That's what I call a very impressive photo. The colors are simply amazing and the texture of the water is very impressive. I like that you can just see the bottom of the pool in the very front of the photo. What really amazes me is the amount of details you still have in all the swimming pool furnishing. One really small nit though, the umbrella on the far left. I think cropping it of the photo is better.

I like the combination of the sunset -- purple skies, silouttes of palm trees and their reflection with the non-reflected lounges (and people) around the pool. I makes for a "really there" versus "not really there" feel.
