These lovely graphic patterns of rice paddies are made by local people, mostly H'mong minority who are living mainly in the mountainous area. They earn their living mainly by cultivation (rice and corn) and hunting. Due to the shortage of water, then there's only one crop a year when the rainy season comes.

Very nice spotted and captured ! Great patterns with nice shapes, i would like to go to Vietnam and see it with my own eyes. Perhaps one day.....
