| Funny story... I took that shot on a bed in a hotel on the Cat Ba island in the Ha Long Bay in Vietnam. It was a rainy night and there was a thunderstorm outside (heavy rain and lightnings), not the best time to "take the camera for a walk. I opened my calendar on a random page.... Friday, the 9th. What stroke my head was a thought, that it's quite hard to write down all your impressions on such little space (a calendar page). Taking pictures is one thing, but the story you tell while showing them to your family or friends is another tale. |

Hi Michal,
this photo is instantly my favourite...not only because of an amazing note, so full of atmosphere, that you tell us, but also because it was taken at Ha Long Bay...the place of my dreams, where I will certainly go once...thanks for this!
