Face, I will never forget
 |

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Took this in Hue, Vietnam April 2005. The story behind these charming faces is: I was setting in park enjoy a break in the shade. These young beautiful children came up to me with their hands out, wanting some money. They never spoke a word. Nothing unusual here, except they would not go away when I said No! No! She then proceed to cry, which we've seen before with others young girls. I didn't fall for this and just avoided them. When I ask them for a picture, the hands came out again. So being the sensitive man I am, I gave them a dollar, which is one day wages for most adults in Vietnam. Her face, the eyes show the beauty. My wife wanted to take her home. They were not beggers full time. They were collecting re-cycled plastic from the streets and parks that people discard. They then re-sell it from pennies |

Beautiful faces. And a very touching story. We have to be so thankful for what we have.
