[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Pre-dawn light makes the strange limestone mountains of limestone even more mysterious. This boat seemed to be moored offshore overnight. This is one of the few places in the world where such strange landforms are seen. Thailand and southern China are the others.

thanks for the notes. Nicely composed and cropped in panoramic format. I like the placement of ship here giving a way to the view and details of the mountains at the back while the mood is so relaxing. Well composed.

tfs......Buddy

Hi Murray
Superb view. Mountains look mysteriously and majestic. Very much I would like to see this place from close up - perhaps in a year I will manage to fulfil this dream.

Hi Murray

A superb pre-dawn shot of the beautiful Ha Long Bay. The boat makes a fine focal point. Moody & atmospheric. Tfs!

Hello Murray.
What a beautiful world we live in, right ?
Even with the dull light in this picture, it shows the beauty of nature perfect.
Cheers, Jan

Bom dia Murray

Very soft post Murray! The rocks look very interesting. The green tone is highlighting the boat. Nice composition!

Hello Murray
Wonderful composition and a great fog capture. A very misteryous and magic atmosphere. Congrats, mb

Terrific formations and an evocative shot - once again great to see you using composition to such a compelling end. I can't help wishing that there was more light and contrast in the shot but I understand that it's a 'pre dawn' thing. :)

Hi Murray..i love this place and your picture...I had the urge to bring out the ship so I did a workshop...I hope you don't mind.
