[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Looking NE towards the tall karst limestone pinnacles which have a bizarre or dreamlike feeling when seen in the early morning mist. Seen here are just a handfull of approximately 2000 islands in Halong bay area.

If interested to see the number of islands, take a look using Google earth, amazing from space.

This landscape reminds me of Phang Nga Bay in Thailand.

Nice Murray - good crop accentuates the image.. I do think a little more contrast would be really helpful though! The boat on the laft looks a little washed out for example..

A classic presentation of Halong Bay. The karst pinnacles remind me of those I have seen in Thailand (Phang Nga) and the Philippines (Palawan). I hope you post some of the cave pictures of Halong as they are also magnificent. My compliments and happy holidays. Danilo
