Hi Ruud,
Not a surprise when one know the quality of your work! This B&W is impressive by the quality of the tone and the richness of textures on the scarf covering the head of this old woman. It is understood, with the crumpling of her eyes and forehead, that she has difficulty of seeing. It must be also a little deaf, but it offers to us to read her whole life on the wrinkles of her face. Thank you for the note and congratulation for this great portrait! Annie
