The Con Phung Island (Phoenix Island) is part of Ben Tre Province and is across the Mekong River from My Tho. It is an island with lots of natural canals. In these canals orchids grow wild like this one. As our boat moved through the river, we had to keep our eyes open for pretty wild flowers. We were on a momentary stop when I took this shot.
