This is super for the theme Richard. Very unique way to deliver flowers I must say. Perfect clarity on the subject and lovely colour. I really am enjoying this one.

Interesting shot Richard, good panning effect,
nice balanced compositon. Congrats. Vincent
This was something I loved about Asia. Things you would never see in Canada. A perfect example here, and I must say the flowers are GORGEOUS!!! This picture really brings back the feeling of 'being there'. TFS

Hehehhe...great capture and tribute to the theme Kilted! Like the rich colours of the flowers while in the traffic :-) Looks familiar of what I've seen in HCMC.

Hi Richard, An excellent and rather attractive (compared to many loads) that go by bike in this huge bike-ridden city. Well timed and taken to avoid problems in this sort of photo. TFS. Murray.
Great shot Richard! super action here... and they are saying: - view? no problem just go!!! I have to deliver this flowers.
Tom:)
Yes, I can imagine that you have seen many weird and wonderful sights on the streets over there Richard.
Good shot here - I love the florist on his bike!

Good morning Richard
What superb colours and details, fantastic idea for the theme and really well shot, nice panning kept the bike well in focus with a slight blur in the BG to show movement. Love it
TFS and for joining in the fun
regards Helen
This is something I was thinking, too, for this theme !
Excellent capture and contribution; congrats !
have a great weekend,

Makes me wonder how he could see where he was going Richard. Excellent colours and good focus. I visited Kuala Lumpur back in the early 90's, I was staggered at how many people could fit on those machines. Great entry,
Dave

I simply like the disappearance of rider's face from this angle, Richard, and you captured this shot without knowing how the rider looked like.
At 1/100s, though not perfectly sharp but still reasonably able to read details, as the bike was in motion.
I am guessing that there is no camera shake but purely bokeh to cause the BG blur, as the red/white pole, red car, and all things behind are blurred but the bike at front right is sharp (unless you did superb panning that escaped notice).
I find that you captured the flower as your key attraction for this shot. I fully agree to it. Perhaps he is sending the floral to some ceremony of either sadness or happiness, but from my guess, a floral of the length to stand up is for sadness (I may be wrong!) ceremony like condolence.
I would want to find out what is that traffic sign post showing, a stop or slow sign? Just curious.
In fact, street scenes are not easy to shoot, they need fast reaction, and for this I commend your work here. Using 70mm is quite close to your subject and your hands and eye have to be quick.
No doubt, your Note is useful reading. And i like the wavy canopy lines that you included at top, kind of giving a composition frame.
Nice metering exposure, pov and composition. I quite agree with Karen, you bet a lifetime that Canada can never offer you this scene for a shoot, or perhaps in downtown Toronto if there is, but surely not this attire and brands of motorbikes?
Well done, Richard. TFS
cheers, bill
What ever works. A fridge! Seriously, Wow. Great shot panning with the cycle. Colors well done.
A Fridge!

Cheers, John.
A child on an IV?? Criminy!
This one is fun because it looks like a single hybrid vehicle at first. Great capture, with excellent clear details

Hi Richard,
Interesting street/candid scene here - nice panning action on your part (I note the sharpness on the moving subjects and slight blur on the background.
Good detail/colour on the flowers.
Best regards, Daniel
Great cultural catch. How did you manage to get a crisp image of the bikes at 1/100 sec.
Were you in continuous focus mode maybe?
TFS. Karin
Hello Richard,
A priceless shot! Nice focus on the moving bikes, and I am amazed that he can drive with only one hand--don't you need your right hand on the throttle?
Thanks for sharing--I love it,
Karen
