Happy at work

Pictured this Vietnamese woman on the beach of Lang Co in the province of Thue Thien-Hue, not far from Da Nang. She was happy at work and well willing to pose for my camera. I took several shots. In the WS you find an other picture of her.

PP-work:
Increased brightness and contrast, removed some rubbish from the beach with the clone tool. Add frame, resized and sharpened.

Hoi Hans
Zeer knappe pose met fijne rijsthoed en bamboe stock.
Haar lach is zeer fijn maar het licht op haar gezicht lijkt zo artificieel.
Groetjes
David

Good closeup portrait. I like how you added the workshop showing what she is hauling. Both pictures are very nice and classic. Beautiful work!

Hi Hans:
Most excellent portraiture of real life...

I love the expression, Hans and the composition is wonderful
I must admit that I am trying to figure out, though, whether I am seeing colour noise on the shirt and the face or whether the odd colours of the shirt are reflected in the face?

Greetings.

Firts time i see the pixels in your post , why ? anaway good composition , and her face is perfect and clean. Réal.

Hi Hans
Good journalistic photo and good capture of natural traits of the woman and her leathery sun tanned skin. The composition is artistic as well as the point of view. You insisted too much on sharpness though, well taht only my opinion.
Bravo

Hello Hans,

Your have presented a beautiful image of highly expressive face. Her smile is attractive and her wrinkled skin is narrating the story of her being seasoned. A beautiful image my friend, well done.

Thanks for sharing this shot.

Wow... what a great portrait.
I really love the face of this woman. She's strong, intelligent, happy, clear and obviously very self confident.
She's patient, proud and wise...

HELP!!! did I see all that just in a picture??
owww... maybe I'm wrong...

Anyway, I think this is a very good portrait. Funny how much it shows... and then again.. how little.

;-) Cheers,
Anneke

I like the both photos Hans. What a pleasant lady she is. Yes, she does look happy in her work. And when you think what memories she will have of the past too - that's sad.
Good shot

I like both pictures with a slight preference for the ws version, Hans, as it's more dynamic. But in this one her hat stands out more, and that's a beauty.

Erg mooie plaat Hans !!
Hier hou ik altijd van, van die karakter-koppen zoals ik dat noem. Ze ziet er uit als een rijstkorrel, dat wel. ;-)
Technisch weer picobello .... natuurlijk.
groeten,
Joop!

A beautiful lady here Hans! Nice pose, she looks glad to see the Great Green Baron! Future wife?? .........B-)....hee hee...please don't come get me! HAHAHAHA!
B-)
Linda

Good point of view and her smile is really good. but very grainy and noisy which lose overall quality of the picture. And it does not make sense for this portrait that you use f/8. Below 4.0 woudl make a great pic.
