[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Paddling up the river to the Perfume Pagoda about 65kms from Hanoi. We went with a small tour group, two people per boat, with each boat paddled by a woman from the nearby village who was a widow (or so we were told). Paddling up the river, with the only sound being the splash of the oars, through this beautiful landscape, had a timeless feel about it. It was a dull and misty day, even at f/2.8 the shutter speed of 1/160 was only just enough on a moving boat.

Very lovely scene, excellent composition and nice point of view, good sharpness and nice depth of field, very beautfiul natural colors and great misty atmosphere in the distant mountains.

A beautiful scene well composed and captured. The scene is photographed in such a way that it provides a good perspective with a fore ground, middle and the tiered background of the mountains.The pagoda adds interest as well. An artist will love to paint this photo.

I like the note... Well, I like the photograph as well! But the 'who was a widow (or so we were told)...'. A very unlucky village, since looking at the photograph I'm counting 9 widows... Well, could be true.
Nice photograph with the depth in the mist and the curve in the river.

I like your pov and low angle, probably shooting from a boat. Very nice view and well composed to show layers of tone and mountain outline.
