[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Caodaism is the third largest religion in Viet Nam (after Buddhism and Catholicism). It is a relatively new, syncretistic, monotheistic religion, officially established in Tay Ninh (about 100km Northwest of Saigon) in 1926. Caodaism combines elements from different world's main religions, including Buddhism, Confucianism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, Taoism, as well as Geniism, an indigenous religion of Viet Nam.
The term "Cao Đai" literally means "High Palace". Figuratively, it refers to supreme palace where God reigns. It is also the abbreviated name for God, the creator of the universe.
Photo taken during the second service at noon (one day, there are 4 services) and it's open to public.
