[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello! Taken in Kyoto,Japan in the west side of the station.
The escalators and stairs go to the roof and to a department store, not to the tracks...that's why you can't see many persons...yes, quite unusual in a Japanese train station of a large city.

In PP partial desaturation, changed contrast and shadows,sharpness.Resized for TL.

So many steps!!! Great architectural shot, Francesco! The partial desaturation is well used, as it looks very natural. A nice sense of space. Well done!

Hello Francesco,

Good composision and nice contrast of red and B/W!
You point out well on this train station. Surely, these stairs don't carries out a function and i felt the inconvenience. Maybe builder could not destroy old station area. And they designed and built this modern architecture on neighbor wide spaces. However, i also think a failure work on function.
