This was taken at a bar in Ao Nang on New Year's Eve 2003. I was experimenting with long exposure shots while having a beer.
When the flash fired the lens was pointing to my friends with a glass of water in the foreground. I then moved the camera so it was right in front of my beer. So it is basically two shots combined in one exposure (3.2 sec). I quite like the distorted proportions of the water and the beer.
Editing included sharpening, shadows, minimal saturation and a small crop. |
