Hoi Jan,
Hier mee steel je mijn hart natuurlijk. Wat een voortreffelijke foto, prachtig orientaals groen, super POV en DOF. Een kleine opmerking ik zou een nauwere 'crop' hebben gemaakt, de lucht is een beetje saai. Zie mijn interpretatie van jouw geweldige foto in de WS.

What a lovely provincial scene, Jan! I like it a lot! Lovely vivid greens. You framed your subjects on the right spot. I'd rather crop the washed out sky.

mooi groen (maar hoort deze niet eerder thuis op TrekEarth?). Ik ga akkoord met de suggestie van GreenBaron, en zou zelfs het contrast en eventueel kleurenverzadiging durven verhogen. Niettemin, mooie foto van een mooi land (alhoewel ik Vientiane zelf een vreselijke stad vond..)

This is a breathtaking shot! I love the wide open green space with the presence of human to give LIFE in this shot. And your title is nice to define the scenery here... I wished you had cropped it like Hans' WS. (It is just my preference... you know your shot better and you might have a good reason to leave it like this)

Anyway, I love the color, I adore the composition and I love this scene (can't find a word to describe my amazement, Jan).

Superb post once again.

Fitting for quite a few themes indeed including last Friday's theme ( green ). But also my favorite agriculture shots from around the world.

Great perspective and leading line with the ladies walking toward the center of the shot.

Is het niet fantastisch - de weg kwijt zijn op vakantie is vaak een manier om op heerlijke plaatsen terecht te komen.
Jan, dit ziet er bijzonder aantrakkelijk uit door die rij dames met hun rieten hoeden, nu lijkt jouw foto eens zo groot.
Heel erg mooi.
