[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I still remember him, he was a very interesting character. i was shooting on Nizzamuddin Aulia (a muslim shrine in Delhi) for an indian TV channel.
This guy named "Abdullah" was begging near the shrine. whenever i had to come out or i had to shoot the shrine walls from outside, he loves to come in front of the camera. i told him so many times "Lens ke aage mat aao" (please do not come in front of the lens, you are ruening my shot) but he did not listen. To keep him away from the shooting site i had to take his four or five still shots and then somehow i managed to keep him away.

He was so obsessed with the camera that he asked me so many questions like what is this camera, is it still or movie one. how many shots you can take at one time. Do i look handsome in the picture? so many questions.

I was enjoying conversation with him and little surprised to know that how a beggar is interested in photography.

Take the Life that you have and give it your best...
Think positive, be happy let God do the rest...
Take the challenges that life has laid at your feet...
Take pride and be thankful for each one you meet...
To yourself give forgiveness if you stumble and fall...
Take each day that is dealt you and give it your all...
Take the love that you're given and return it with care...
Have faith that when needed it will always be there...

i am totaly agree with Peter, this kind of work gives satisfaction. when i am feeling good about it then how would have been your reaction after taking this shot.
the part of this shot is that the total focus is on the eyes of this man rest is merging with the black frame. i like the composition and the feeling. even i appreciate your concern towards this beggar who wanted him to be clicked and you fullfilled his desire.

Hi Manuj,
Your camera is a great producer of very clear and sharp images, plus your expertise to use it. Be careful to overused the "later", ":)" or any other indication of you'll gonna give later a smiley coz I overdone it. I cant help to gave my words to all deserving images beyond the 20pts per day smileys. Instead I wrote "later", etc. I can give my smileys again with points next month for this kind of thing. But my comment without points is still active. At least, I can still give my words to all deserving images without limit, less only the points.

I think it's easy to forget that "beggars" are still human beings, with thoughts, and feelings, and opinions, hopes and dreams, even pride. Talking to some of the homeless beggars in Manila I was always touched by their warmth and even their optimism.

This fellow has a very charming manner about him and you've captured his photograph with your usual finesse.
