[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Ider River flows northwest, to become the Selenge River, which eventually joins Lake Baikal's central eastern shoreline. Notice the dented trash racks & dip at the back of this decrepit old bridge. Believe it or not, this is the main road from UB to Lake Hovsgol. My Russian tour jeep passed over this bridge uneventfully, & we stopped for lunch.

Another superb view here:

Hi Chris,
The bridge may be wooden but its design reminds me of those that I see in modern cities. A nice diagonal composition enhanced by the blue sky. Best regards, Danilo

Hi Chris
It reminds me of the old Kwai River that we saw decades ago. Just beautiful and very unusual for its size

Hello Chris,
which you still found which in such a way, since you have luck had, still such an old model from wood….wonderful. That suggests the memory. A wonderful picture. Congratulate.

Great shot Chris, looks a bit unsafe to me?
Nice point of view, you have shown all the detail in the bridge.

Gil

Oh wow!! I would be so worried about this bridge! However, it's common knowledge that wood is strong than steel per pound. I think this is a great shot and a piece of another way of life I never mind seeing!

Hello Chris. You have captured lasting images on your trip and this one looks rather distant from any civilization. Stunning view with the drying river and the bridge in good detail. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni

It does look a bit rickety!! It seems to go up and down!!
Good POV from down low under the bridge - as it shows us its imperfections!!
