[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An interesting sunset at sea. The day had been mostly cloudy but the sun began to break through just in time to go down for the night. (exif data shows Eastern Time, location was Atlantic time=1 hour later)
Shot this with the camera on the railing of the ship, didn't have a tripod on the cruise. Had to take a number of shots to get the islands to be visible and the sky color to be represented and the sun behind the clouds not to be totally blown.
Shot in RAW, aperture priority, converted to jpeg and minor levels and saturation adjustments to convey the look.
Resized and framed and sharpened for TL.

Good color, sharpness & horizontal banding of the cloud formations in this superb sunset. Perhaps a slight crop at the top to remove the black in the top left corner? I like the three receding hills. Tfs!
