I hope Hurricane Felix stays away from you! I like the symmetry between the 2 verticals of the fishing rod & yacht mast. A good, shallow dof, & nice sepia tints. Tfs!

i love tis shot coz it remind me of my time wit my dad going for a fishing just like this where we have to stand at the chest level sea water for hours..

now i don't have time for that anymore.. which i miss very much.. i can go fishing the whole day without feeling bored..

Hi Manrique,
Great work on the composition having both the fisher and boat on both sides of the frame. The action is wonderfully captured the mood is perfectly set. I do feel that the photo could use more contrast and like the WS. I would however crop part of the top so that the horizon is more on the top 1/3 line.

smart use of an open aperture makes the boat secondary in detail but important in position..with the upright mast and rod, this show would not have worked too well..but i can see now the timing is brilliant

ps exposure and contrast here convey a more relaxed mood than any other since they are pretty flat and silhouette seems to be the main thrust of the shot...
