Time 16:18 on Easter Sunday ( *_^ )

Well, today I decided to stay a little bit more on the beach and share the beauty of this sunny Easter afternoon.

For those of you , who missed the two previous postings, here we are on Playa Esmeralda, one of the beaches of the Paradisus Rio de Oro resort .

We are at the West end of the beach, at the Nautical center of the resort next door, the Sol Club Rio de Luna Y Mares Resort Hotel . We enjoyed a few trips on these catamarans ourselves. I took a few shots as well during these trips. But no, I did not bring my digital camera on board. We like too much speed and sailing on one floater only , to risk damaging my precious camera ( LOL!). Instead I used a disposable camera. Of course the quality is not the same, but it is still useful.

Here in Mid afternoon, with a clear sky, I liked the bright colors of the pedal boats. I waited for a catamaran to come back to base to take the shot and complete the composition.

PS. I do not like to walk on the beach under the bright sun with my camera and full gear. I used a very convenient plastic bag with a zipper to carry only my ''precious'' camera. We were only in swimsuits, walking in the water most of the time to avoid burning our feet in the sand. This plastic bag did a great job, protecting my camera from waves, spray, sand and salt.

Original attached as Workshop!

Technically:

Adjusted colors, levels, contrasts.
Cloned a catamaran in the background....
Filtered with Neat Image
Added a thin black line & white frame and title

Cheers!
Robert

Hi Robert

Wonderful color, repetiiton, & sharpness, in this superb beach scene. I like the diagonal axis. Wel done!

Hi Robert,
Really lovely colors and very nice POV. TFS.
Peace,
Mohammad

a very different kind of boat from you Robert :)
love the bright happy colors
well composed

My choice would be the sailboat, those paddle boats are rough on the legs...lol! Nothing like a relaxing sail!
Great colors, composition and clarity, thanks for sharing!
Fran

what a eye catcher this is....so clear and crispy. Just wanna take a dive in that water. Love the angle of your capture. Nice.

Robert, these colors, old known about my youth, can turn me crazzy, the love, the lived history and up to someone that another tear.... It is strong for me to see this so beautiful places. Thanks, and Many regards, Rafael

Hi Rob,

Very colourful & vivid composition! I really like the POV which you chose. Seems like you basically had all the beach to yourselves! Lucky you!! :) Fantastic blue sky & fortunately you remembered to bring the polarizing filter!

Well done
Constantinos

Hi Robert,

Great shot here my friend with a good title too :) I love the repetition here as well as the contrasting sail colours. That luminous sail really is bright and makes it presence felt here :)

Excellent shot and note

John

Simply stunning Robert! Colors are great, repition, shadows and the "V" created by the horizing and the shore. Indeed, this is a very good composition. Congratulations.

Wow, I want to get in one of those pedal boats or Hobie Cats and go for a sail right now. The beautiful colors from turquoise sea and sky and the pedal boats, the contrast of the white sand, the diagonal line of the boats all make an exceptional composition. This is one of those photos that the Paradisus Rio de Oro resort should use to tempt people to go there.

Regards,
Lois

Hi Robert,

I think it is better to look for bikers here!

Very nice colourfull beach view. It gives you a holiday feeling.

Thanks,

Hello Robert!

What a glorious view. Here I am in Autumn and a rather dreary one even by Tasmanian standards. Excellent POV, bright vivid colours and very well presented. TFS,
David

The little boats are all lined up so prim and proper on the beach! I hope you had a ride on them Robert.
Very colourful, stunning colours, what a super place to stay. Thank you for sharing this right now as our Fall is starting to kick in!!!

Great perspective! Great image with very good DOF, saturated colours and brilliant composition. I like it a lot.

More wonderful colours. I like the way you've composed the row of pedal boats and the bright sails behind them.

Hi Robert
It's a very very nice composition and perfect point of view... Also perfect colors and light. The frame is beautiful too... This place like paradise..wooww:)
Take care
Deniz

PS: Thank you very much for your comment on Kursunlu Waterfall

Love those colors, Robert. :) I would really like to be in a place like this right now!!! Maybe the composition could be a bit different with more space on the bottom and less of the sky to put the horizon in upper 2/3rd. Still, it is well done!

south of the border ... :-)

Hi Robert

Very Nice pic, however difficult to select one from all your post. Every pic look super. this pic have many wonderful colors and its surly a great place. TFS.

I'd so love to hop on board one of these boats, although in the hot sun I imagine they'd be pretty hot to sit on at first. I love the diagonal angle, and the different colored boats at the end, the red one and the near more greenish one. Very pleasing shot with the blue sky and green/blue water, well done. I only wish I was there!
