[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hello to all on this Special Sunday !

Back in February , I mentioned , we gathered a few teddies for our trip to Cuba . I uploaded then a photo called Ready for adoption with a large version . Full story here .

Well today, I tought it would be a good occasion to present you a few mummies and friends, who adopted some of our little friends (^_^)

The photo here was taken at the Tsuru Japanese Restaurant.
From Left to right:
Maylin Sierra : Expecting her first baby in a couple of months (^_^)
Yudelis: Mother of a 2 year old girl
Martine: I guess no Introduction required...
Lidis : Sadly lost two of her babies during pregnancy. Last year, she was four months pregnant when we saw her. She lost her baby at six months of pregnancy. She is a very courageous and adorable young lady. Her partner in life is a doctor. So it is just a matter of time before she will be finally mother (^_^).

Note we took this photo at the end of the evening, after our meal. While Martine enjoyed a a second cup of coffee (*_^), I went to the room , to bring back souvenirs for the ladies ( and one for our cook - Not shown on the photo).

We like to take photos with our friends. We often take these group shots year after year. This time the ladies spontaneously wanted to have a shot , with their new little friends. I am posting it here as I think it does show, they were quite happy of their new buddies...

With Photoshop CS:
1 - Cropped the photo
2 - I corrected the red eyes
3 - Removed the heavy flash spots on Yudelis glasses and her ID on her costume.
4 - Erased a pen attached to Maylin Sierra costume
5 - Darkened the surroundings
3 - Minor corrections to levels , colors and contrasts.
With Photofiltre
4 - Added a simple frame and title

Seems like the parents are proud of their adopted teddies... :)) And we can really see this in Martine's face. :)

Some great work turning a snapshot into a portrait-of-four. I think it looks great, all things considered. The issue of subjects' hair camouflaged against the background is really one that can't be avoided in my view, nor does it really take anything away from the image. Congratulations.

I'm glad you had such a great time in Cuba, I'm envious as I've never been, but will be heading to Italy in about six weeks, hurray!
