Further yesterday's post , our taxi arrived fifteen minutes later than scheduled.

Honestly, our one horse power cab, was busy on this sunny morning. As you can appreciate , the little fellow, is not really fat. But like a marathon man, this horse was skinny but quite strong. No fatigue, the ride was pleasant despite he had to pull the carriage and five adults, in a hilly course.

So no , we were not mad, when he showed up. Just relieved that the horse was still Ok for the return trip. As we were paying our ride back at the resort only. We did not like the idea of taking an other carriage, as he did the first portion.

Back later tonight with my own critiques and comments.

Technically: Cropped the top. Adjusted shadows and highlights. Filtered, resized, framed, titled. I am lucky both subjects were actually looking at me proudly (^_^). For the ladies, I added a closer portrait of our guide as a workshop.

Cheers!
Robert

We preferred this more romantic way to travel instead of an air conditioned taxi (^_^).

Cost of the ride 15.00 CUC ( for the two way ride ). About twenty minutes required to cover the distance from the resort to the village (5 km )

Hi Robert:
Excellent controll on lighting here...
framing is also superb....
Have ridden these in Oregon, but not as Taxi, just for fun...
The horse is rather skini...
the blue sky adds so much here..
David

Nicely captured, well done on the comp.

Mike

Hello Robert.
Always a relaxed pleasure to ride on those carriages.
Pity, on most places they ask too much money for.
Very nice shot of the streets of Cuba.

Hi Robert, it is a tiny horse, and looks at those ribs! But no doubt strong ehough to pull the cart.
Thanks for sharing
Janice

Hello Robert,
Its a beautiful photo artisticly but a sad one for me to see the horse with his backbone sticking up and ribs showing...much overworked....very sad indeed. Happens alot in these type of ops, too much work for the amount of horses they have and not enough rest time for the poor guy either.

Very good example of the art of vacation shots.

Excelent shot Robert. Colour, light, subject. Nice intro. Too bad for the horse though. Poor thing. I guess they must have had a price hike on the hay just as we do for gaz....

Hi Robert

Nice natural colors, fine framing and fine lighting. A very nice work.

Hi Robert!

No wonder everyone (in the previous post) was a little apprehensions about the ride back! Great vivid colours & lighting! The perspective is great too!

Well done
Constantinos
