Commuting back to town

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Ciudad de Mayari Time 16:06 hrs
Further yesterday's post, this one was taken as we were approaching the sea level and the town of Mayari . More and more people were now commuting. Some like here were going back in town after a hard day in the fields. Some were coming back from town ( see the other bus coming uphill dead ahead (^_^). But do not worry , that one was stopped. We had plenty time to pull over in our lane.
Technically , Well we were obviously underway , our guide was very kind to invite us to tell him , if we wanted to stop and take photos. But we took so many up in the mountains, we were actually late in our schedule. I found , It was more interesting to shoot through the front instead of from the side window. So, I tried a few through the windshield.
Here, I kept the dash and mirror, to explain the presence of the stains on the windshield. Of course we were travelling on dirt roads and gravel roads up there. So at the end of the day , with the rain we had, it was not clean anymore. I was sitting on the back seat . Christina was sitting at the front, beside our driver. Her husband Frank, our guide and another driver was following us in another car.
Here I did not desaturate the shot. Instead I kept it in colors, but the cloudy coverage did not provide much punch to the scene. I have to say the road is so dusty , everything along the road was covered with a brownish dust.
The numerous power lines are testifying we were indeed approaching town. I did not clone any on purpose.
Note the sadness of the passengers. I would have asked them to turn around , I would not have had better cooperation (^_^). Perhaps our small jeeps were odd on that road. Transportation is free to the people. But the quality of the rides are not first class. Fortunately it was not raining anymore.
Have a great day !

The framing of this is really excellent. It is spare and utilitarian and adds to the mood of the shot.
Super photojournalism, Robert

Hello Robert!
Great daily life scene from the car!
I really like the focus, the POV and the composition: the way you show a few details of your car.
That's very good that most of the people look towards you.
TFS!
Best wishes,
Marci

Bien joué Robert, j'aime bien le style: 'Un moment dans la vie'. C'est bien cadré avec une bonne technique ! Bravo et merci !
