I'm a fan of portraits, I'm not such a fan of two-portraits-in-one-shot.
My preference is the shot on the right, she has such life and character in her face and eyes, the shot feels balanced and controlled, and the colours are very rich.
The shot on the left feels more 'snapshot'-like, and the slightly-trimmed shoe at the bottom of the frame unsettles me. (I know, I'm fussy about everyone's work except my own ...!)
