For today I offer some more tings from Caribbean, Havana
After Night time – Some daily “Relief” time...

In rural areas, there are fewer options. Fewer people have televisions or radios and there aren't movie theaters or many dancing clubs. So, if you don’t - you can seat or sleep on porch in the park...

At a community center we visited, a small movie theater that all residents could use freely was available. They were also working on establishing a computer center for locals to use freely. Each week, they also held community dances and parties, with some especially for the young ones.

Only a seven months has passed since ordinary Cubans won the right to own computers, and the government still keeps a rigid grip on Internet access. But that hasn’t stopped thousands from finding their way into cyberspace. And a daring few post candid blogs about life in the communist-run country that have garnered international audiences

I really like this for a slice of daily life George... Very well seen and taken - the composition is very good too!!

I assume you boosted the grain effect because you shot this with ISO 100..

I like the photo of the gentlemen resting on the park bench. The grain effect of the photo gives it a modern-like painting quality look to me. A lot of colors and details throughout the scene. :) Lisa

Hi George

The series from Cuba is really candid with all those everyday shots so characteristic of its people. This one is unique with all the fatigue of the heat. Really nice indeed.

A delightful peep into the private life of Cuba. It certainly looks relaxed without so many activities to goad one into activity.
