[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken last year in Cayo Santa-Maria, Cuba during our vacation. Diane taking a swim.

The water color is as is. A wonderful place.

This year, we were supposed to put the money on the house and replace some siding but decided otherwise.
We decided to go to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic in March with some friend of ours.
We'll be staying at the Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort during the week of the 18th. So if any of you people are there, look us up :-). I should be around the pool bar in the PM :-).

Still a long way off before we go. Counting the days.

Resized, clarified and sharpened a touch and framed.

There is some turbulence in the bottom right corner of your frame, Pierre. You are getting your picture soaking wet! No splashing, please!
Wish we could join, we really need a winter break like that! So, week of 18th, I hoist a few drinks in our bathtub and think of you lucky guys!

OH that blue blue water--- looks very refreshing. Love the splash in the frame. Nicely composed. I went to DR in 2004, great place beautiful scenery, wonderful people. GOOD CHOICE on the vacation.

Composition:. 4/10 (Subject positioning, crop, pov)

We only see the back of her face, therefore, don’t need to zoom on her. Show us more of this great place. Open up!...or ask her to look at you and do her portrait.

Creativity: 2.5/10 (Originality, usage of imagination, thinking outside the box)

Nothing of great creativity here. Changing pov perhaps?

Rigor: 6/10 (Sharpness, Exposure, PP, Presentation,)

Too much noise reduction.

Exploitation of the light 8.5/10

Statement 5/10 (Ability of communicating an idea, a mood, a message with the image)

Doesn’t look exotic enough. Show me palm tree, beach, umbrella…

Hi Pierre,
Splashing shot! Nice turquoise water with a beautiful blond nimpf.

Punta Cana next destination hu! Can you please check if the cleaned the mess after hurricane George in 1998. In my WS you can see how this "Airport" was ruind. I flew with an Embarear EMB120 from Santa Domingo to Punta Cana to see if this airport was safe for landing of a Boeing 767. Nothing worked no radio no beacons no lights nothing....in two days it was fixes and safe for wide body aircrafts again. So please let me know after your holiday how it looks now. Great pleace to be very relaxing and nice water and cold beers :)

Beautiful capture with superb colours and details and an expert frame. I like the effect of the clear frame when you're shooting water like this

Fish is so much included in humen´s life e.g. "like a fish"; "fish without water"; "slippery fish"; "fishing out" and so on.....

A beautiful image has been presented in this post. The back sroke with sunglasses is interesting. Nice presentation along with a splash on the corner. Excellent shot Pierre.
