The hurricane Wilma untied the penetration of the sea on the of Havana levee, the streets parallel to the coast became navigable by the flood and the waves reached heights never dress in Havana.

Hello Rafael !

This breaking wave is huge. The spray seems to reach at least 50 m looking at the buildings in the vicinity!

Did the malecon supported that hurricane ? Major repairs will most likely need to be done on the walls and in the city.
Hopefully nobody was killed during the passage of Wilma.

TFS,
Robert

WOW, what a wave!!!
Photo needs more contrast, and better colours.
But the wave wins them all.
