[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As I got off the ship, there was another cruise ship across . When I reached the front of the ship, the tie-down and the ropes that lead to the ship attracted me. I have done a lot of boat tie-down photos but I like this one the best.

Simply .. a wonderfull catch Andre. Good POV
Symbolic how all that power of the large boat is controlled by this landpost! TFS and bye

Nice shot Andre. A smiling ship (*_*) after the smiling cars ( from the movie with the same title ).
Interesting perspective, with these mooring lines heading to this smiling cruise ship.
Well done!

I like the point of view and that you placed the cleat in the foreground. Very good work Andre'.

I like the smile. Must be great to be on such a friendly ship. Well captured.

hi Andre,
this is simply excellent! I really like the soft pastel tones ..and yes you are absolutely right: the ropes lead the eye right to the ship - But you've placed it in a very creative/original way (ie the rope leading to the ship) not like the ususal predictable diagonal arrangement and whatever.
SUch that there is a fantastic fore-shortening on the yellow part of the rope (super!!)
I think this is a really brilliant effort. The results speak very well for themselves.

Well done and best regards, Daniel

Nice picture ! Interesting point of view
