[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the national dish of the Dominican Republic...a sort of meat and vegetables ragout (mostly red beans) in a spicy sauce. It is delicious! This was the "kitchen" of the only "restaurant" in town...about 100 km north of Juan Dolio. The dish is served with rice and fried bananas (simmering on the "burner" out of view on the right).
