A view from the front entrance of our hotel. Just across the bay, you can see the Mayan village of Santiago. It was so peaceful here... you could hear the activity from the village .. dogs barking, tuktuks roaring around, and the voices of the villagers. I could sit for hours and take in the scene.
I loved this sprawling bouganvillea bush that adorned the front of the hotel stairway.
If you're ever in the area, I would recommend this hotel ... great accomodations, an adequate restaurant, beautiful scenery, and a short walk around the bay to the village of Santiago.

Hi Trudy,
This is a such relaxing view from this hotel! The foreground is so engaging for admiring this scene!
I like much the colors here. Nice contrast with dark ochre of the fence and the soft blue sky. The magenta of bouganvillea bush against the vivid foliage is an excellent counterpoint at the whole image. Bravo! Annie

Hi Trudy,
What a wonderful looking place to stay! I am quite envious! :). Very good POV, such natural tones and colours - The purple flowers add extra vibrancy too. Would make a good advertisement for the hotel. Nicely done.

TFS,
Scott.

Hi Trudy,

The POV is excellent in this colorful and scenic capture. Judging by the relatively short shadows you must have taken this in strong sunlight. Light management is excellent, the color rendition is outstanding. It looks like a nice place for a vacation!

Warm regards,
Werner

HI trudy
I like the mixture of sunlight and shadow enhancing the fence and the great view.
Your colors are awesome.
Dot

The composition just leaps out of the thumbnails.. Nice mix of light and shadow and considering you shot this into sun the colours are fairly well saturated!!

Good one!!
DAVid

Hi, Trudy -
Beautiful scene, very nicely shown. The peaceful bay makes a marvelous bg for the rustic fence with the colorful flowers just behind. The effect of the sunlight has been controlled to create a warm feel without overpowering brightness. Looks like a lovely place. Cheers -

Hi Trudy

Missed this one! Vibrant, tropical colours with excellent light contrasts & good sharpness & composition. Nice warm cold color contrasts between the angled red fence & blue sky. Tfs!

Hi Trudy,

I love the way you've framed this view with the angles of the wall and the height of the shrubs.

You can feel the warmth of the day in this shot.

Regards,

Nigel
