Hi Trudy, earlier it was discussed about the background so here the tip of balcony is a reference to a culture or society but also the the colour of wall though it is a bit grainy but well composed, TFS.

The title has a good meaning to this photo. Good colored wall for backdrop. The face looking toward the window has drawn the eye to the window along the white line.

Hi Trudy,

I like that patch of wall.. Nice colours and contrast, I know how you feel.. just like how we felt when it was time for us to packed up and leave UK... we have a fantastic time there too. :D Great captured of the mood and composition, :D however if its me, I will captured the whole wall but not the balcony... or even clone it out and then also clone out the distracting "line" on the left edge side of the photo, again it is just my personal opinion, hope you don't mind.

I like the composition, bit the image quality is a bit low. Was a bit surprised to see the very high shutter speed at f/8, but then I saw that you used ISO 1600. Did you do this on purpose or did you forgot to change it from a previous setting?
