Hello Tony!
Good picture, really soft and calm.
They're looking like angels ;-)
Regards,
R.

Well they're a handsome pair, nicely coordinated in white against a blown-out background, there are ingredients here for a terrific shot.

Your composition is ok, except for the woman's chopped-off fingers, and the tilted horizon.

Actually with some more careful pp work I think this could be improved hugely.

Hello Tony.
Lovely skintan on both. Nice and sharp.
Two criticts, The water is not level and better if the mother and son where placed at the right side, so more distance to go out of the picture.
Best regards from Jan

Hello (again) Tony,
Besides the already mentioned flaws (tilted horizon and cropped fingers), I think this picture conveys a strong mood.
You captured your two models at the right moment: the looks in their eyes suggest everything we can imagine about the relationship between a mother and her little son. Really very touching.
Personally, I very much like the "empty" space on the right side. It is not only original (most would have put that space on the left side), but because of its peculiar placement, it also gives a kind of "aura" to these two human beings: an aura of humanity, as if an immense and respectful silence was following their passing by...
TFS & kind regards,
Erik
