[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In June the valleys of the countryside of Andorra ( Valira del Orient ) are filled with wildflowers and especially this variety , i think the name of this flower is ' Krokus ' , botanists out there, can you correct if i am wrong ? I found them to grow near streams in great number . There was snow higher up the hills and mountains and i chose this hill as the BG for this bunch of flowers .I hope you like this,
1/320, ISO 80 F/4.5 on a rainy day , Thank you for viewing ,
Carol

Hi Carol,
Splendid macro shot from Andorra! These flowers look really lovely, you managed to capture them in perfect sharpness and details with a very well set white balance. Superb 'fresh' composition, pleasent to view on a dark autumn day like this. :) Well done, TFS!
Friendly greetings,
Kristof

Hi Carol!
Fresh macro image, different from usual.
BG suits well, good choice!
Ciao, and TFS

A very pretty flower and it must be great to see large amounts of them growing together. Very nice detail, and I like the bg. TFS

Hi Carol,
This is very well composed and the hill was a good BG choice, with interesting textures and neutral colour. The colour scheme has beautiful simplicity and the yellows of the flowers are bold to counterbalance the rainy weather. I find that the bit of sky in the top corners seem to distract me from the flowers, I feel they would stand out more if that hill were bigger! Nevertheless, this is a fine picture.
Well done,
Roxanne

What a nice flower group you have taken here. I love how you have composed it.
Best wishes,
Achim

As the days grow hotter here it's nice to be able to escape into the fresh, crisp scene you have created on the other side of the world. The mountains provide a perfect backdrop to the fine detail of the flowers. An uncomplicated, satisfying shot.

An excellent composition with great clarity on the flowers and I Like how the background looks almost desaturated to show off the flowers even better. Very well done and unusual. TFS
