[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi, my wife bought last week a tiny rose. I love this pink, white and yellow.

btw. this is my first picture, where i played with layers and which is framed.

I did all my work with Gimp2.2:
*) duplicated layer
*) turned backgroundlayer to B&W
*) gaussian blur (Rad. 9) on background
*) unsharp mask (5;0,5;0)
*) three times framing
*) resized and saved as jpg

hope you like it. Crit., Comments and Workshops welcome.
bye alex

It seems like you had extra work on this one with all that pp. (thanks for the note, I should start learning a few things myself...) It's a very unusual rose with all those spots, but I think it would look better if it was a little more sharp, to stand out from the background...
Ana

I know nothing about Gimp, but it looks like you spent a lot of PP work on this. It is a beautiful rose for sure. colors are unusual. Congrats on your first layers and your frame! ..:O)

Hi Alexander, you are really addicted by now :) Good post processing work. But it could be a little finetuned. Please see my workshop for level adjusting and the already mentioned sharpness. Otherwise keep on improving your skills. It will be worth it :) Yours, Jan
